On top of this we are surrounded by spectacular adverts and pretty packaging that encourage us (dare I say manipulate us!) to eat the very things that are making us unhappy in the first place. It is a never ending circle of confusion, misery and guilt. No wonder over 95% of all people who go on a diet regain the weight and 90% gain more! These ‘diets’ are unnatural and hence our bodies eventually say “no more”.
Health Coaches are knowledgeable allies who are there to listen and guide you as you set goals and make the lifelong changes that you have always wanted. As a Health Coach, I am passionate about being there for my clients to listen to their individual needs and help them to discover their own health journey. Together we discuss the key diet and lifestyle factors which we should all embrace for a healthier, happier life.
However also, and incredibly importantly, acknowledging each person’s bio-individuality, we work to find the specific foods and stresses which are both beneficial and unbeneficial for their health. Hence, we create the framework for that individual to go on for the rest of their lives connected to their own bodies, having learnt what makes them thrive from their own experiences, rather than just because this week’s gossip magazine said it is what they should do!
